Xiomara Orriols: Jewellery Designer/Maker

Textile designer Xiomara Orriols graduated from Chelsea College of Art & Design with a First class in June 2004. Since graduating she worked closely with London Fashion designer Ray Harris, exhibiting in New York, Washington and Paris.

With fabric design and textile manipulation being her real passion she incorporates textile techniques into her jewellery designs.

Her inspiration came from a collection of intricate embroidery pieces passed down to her through generations of her families creativity. Intricate details, muted colour palettes and shiny jewels inspired her jewellery designs together with her love of all things vintage and the potential that old items hold, in being re-used, re developed and recycled to create new pieces that fit in with modern trends and styles.
